Founded on December 7th, 1867, it was the first Mutual Aid Institution in the district. The exposed brick building was built on the initiative of different communities that had settled in town. The iron gates were artistically and carefully worked by Santiago Maydac. Currently, it houses the county culture centre which evokes the historic institution.
